It was around mothers day . and I was supposed to be watching Cameron while mom had a break . his friend was over and the two little 4 year olds took off on me. We got a phone call from a neighbour on Pintail cressent . she was laughing and said for somebody to come and get Cameron and his friend . When I got there she had them in the house eating icecream with towles around them. I asked how they got wet and she said she had heard them laughing and looked out and they were both naked in the mud puddle . so she took them in and gave them towels and they didnt want to go with me because they were having to much fun. I dragged them kicking and screaming back to trout ave . to their moms. they where only in towles . when the moms found out what happened they said you funny little guys. I didnt let him sneak away next time.
This story was done by his sister Edith.
When I was little, Cameron lived with us for awhile.
He would run down our driveway, and really move his arms around. It was quite a show.
To me, it was very impressive. I told my Mom that Cameron was a very fast runner.
hi
We may not realize that everything we do affects not only our lives, but it touches others too. A single happy smile, can always brighten up the day, for anyone who happens to be passing by our way. And a little bit of thoughtfulness that shows someone you care, creates a ray of sunshine for both of you to share. Yes everything you offer someone a helping hand, everything you show a friend you care and understand, everytime you have a kind and gentle word to give, you help someone find beauty in this precious life we live. For happiness brings happiness and loving ways brings love and giving is the treasurer that contentment is made of.

Cameron, you're locked up deep within my soul and etched into my heart.
His Journey's Just Begun
Don't think of him as gone away -
his journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets -
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost -
and he was loved so much.
Author:E. Brenneman
I received this sympathy card at Cameron's funeral and describes him truly:
We Remember a Life today
and all that made him the man he was - his work,
his gifts,
all that he enjoyed
and found rewarding...
calling to mind his beginnings,
his journey,
and the wonderful stories
we love to share about him.
We honor a life today -
his character,
his integrity,
his commitment
to the things he stood for -
recognizing his good heart,
his sense of humor,
and the helping hand
he so often extended to others.
We celebrate a life today
and all that earned him
the love, the admiration,
the respect of family and friends,
feeling grateful for our time with him,
enriched for having known him,
feeling blessed to have
his remarkable spirit
here among us forever.
With Deepest Sympathy.
Cameron, you were my best friend, soul mate and a very good husband. I miss you very much. I miss all the fun times we had.
You loved people unconditionally and you were taken away too soon. You are greatly missed, especially those who love you.
love your wife Monique
I started to build my tribute to Cameron McLean today.
Through the darkness I can see your light
And you always shine
And I can feel your heart in mine
